The BIO-S120G electronic lock for glass showcases is an advanced access control device designed specifically for sliding glass doors. It combines traditional PIN code support with the convenience of contactless unlocking via RFID cards and key fobs (13.56 MHz Mifare standard). Thanks to a non-invasive mounting design directly on overlapping glass fronts, the device ensures high security and ease of use without traditional mechanical keys. Offered in elegant white or black, it integrates seamlessly into modern glass cabinets and exhibition showcases.

Tailored for modern commercial, exhibition, and office spaces featuring sliding glass doors, this lock provides reliable protection against unauthorized access. It is an ideal security solution for jewelry stores, pharmacies, museums, and high-end cabinets, effectively blocking sliding glass panels from sliding open. Because it mounts entirely without drilling, the integrity and aesthetics of the glass panels are fully preserved. It optimizes staff operations by replacing physical keys with fast, keyless electronic authorization.

Low Power Consumption: Powered by a single long-lasting CR2032 button cell battery. The battery can be easily replaced directly from the outside while the cabinet remains locked.

Additional Security and Emergency Features

The lock features a code masking function allowing users to enter random numbers before or after the correct PIN code, effectively preventing bystander observation. After five consecutive incorrect entries, the lock triggers an acoustic and visual alarm and disables the keypad for 5 minutes. It also alerts the user when the battery voltage drops below 2.5V. In case of full battery drain, the lock can be powered externally by connecting a powerbank to the integrated emergency port on the bottom of the external panel.

PIN Code Management and Configuration
PIN code capacity A total of 3 permanent PIN codes can be programmed in the BIO-S120G lock:
Manager PIN (Manager Password) 1 code (used for lock management, changing settings, and emergency opening).
User PIN (User Password) 1 code (for daily lock opening in private mode).
Service PIN (Service Password) 1 code (used, for example, in “Double Key Mode”, where two different codes are required to open).
PIN code length Each PIN code can be between 4 and 8 digits long.
Public mode operation The lock does not store a permanent user code. Each person using the showcase enters their own temporary code, which is cleared after the door is opened, freeing the lock for the next user.

Device Operating Modes

The BIO-S120G electronic lock for glass showcases offers four distinct operating modes, allowing the device’s function to be adapted to the individual needs of the venue:

  • Private mode: A solution for permanent users. The lock opens after entering a valid PIN code or tapping an authorized RFID card, and automatically relocks 3 seconds after opening.

  • Public mode: Ideal for public or temporary cabinets. Locking is done by entering any temporary PIN code. Opening is done with the same code, after which the lock memory is cleared for the next user.

  • Office mode: Allows free, multiple opening and closing of the showcase without the need to enter the PIN code or use the card each time (the lock remains unlocked until locked again with a code/card).

  • Double key mode: A high-security variant, requiring two independent authorizations (e.g. user code and service code) to be entered simultaneously to open the showcase.
