It completely eliminates the need for physical keys and glass drilling, preserving the pristine look and structural integrity of frameless glass furniture.

Security Features and Emergency Operation

The lock is equipped with a fake PIN function (code masking) that allows users to type random digits before and after the real code to prevent bypassers from observing. Five consecutive incorrect entries trigger an acoustic and visual alarm, immediately locking the keypad for 5 minutes. If the CR2032 battery completely drains, an emergency Micro-USB (or USB-C) port located at the bottom of the external touch panel allows users to connect an external powerbank for instant backup power and unlock.

PIN Code Management and Configuration
PIN code capacity A total of 3 permanent PIN codes can be programmed in the BIO-S64G1 lock:
Manager PIN (Manager Password) 1 code (used for lock management, changing settings, and emergency opening).
User PIN (User Password) 1 code (for daily lock opening in private mode).
Service PIN (Service Password) 1 code (used, for example, in “Double Key Mode”, where two different codes are required to open).
PIN code length Each PIN code can be between 4 and 8 digits long.
Public mode operation The lock does not store a permanent user code. Each person using the showcase enters their own temporary code, which is cleared after the door is opened, freeing the lock for the next user.

Device Operating Modes

The BIO-S64G1 double-door showcase lock offers four distinct operating modes to adjust access control functions according to the venue’s requirements:

  • Private mode: Ideal for permanent or dedicated users. The lock automatically relocks 3 seconds after a valid user PIN is entered and the door is opened.
  • Public mode: Great for public, shared, or shared-shift cabinets. Locking is done by entering any temporary PIN. Opening is done with the same PIN, which is then wiped from memory to leave the lock ready for the next user.
  • Office mode: Allows multiple openings and closings without typing the PIN code every time (the latch remains retracted until the lock is manually locked with a PIN).
  • Double key mode: Provides heightened security, requiring two independent PIN codes (User and Service) to be entered simultaneously to open the double glass doors.
