The lock is equipped with a fake PIN function (code masking) that allows users to type random digits before and after the real code to prevent bypassers from observing. Five consecutive incorrect entries trigger an acoustic and visual alarm, immediately locking the keypad for 5 minutes. If the CR2032 battery completely drains, an emergency Micro-USB (or USB-C) port located at the bottom of the external touch panel allows users to connect an external powerbank for instant backup power and unlock.
